I crocheted a mouse house last week based on this pattern – http://www.diyhowto.org/crochet-caravan. However, when I made a tiny mouse and little girl for my house, the roof was too low for the bunk beds.
The solution was simple. Raise the roof by making the strip along the sides and top longer, which raised the dome of the house.
This created enough of a gap to crocheted an arched window completed by a top lattice and a flower box.
Then it was obvious my house now had to have a front panel, with a door and window to keep the dolls and dishes inside as well as a and a convenient handle so little people can cart the mini house around.
