Crochet 8 single stitches into a magic ring. For the 2nd row, crocheted two single stitches in every stitch of the first row. In the 3rd to about 12 or 14 rows continue with the 16 stitches. The eyes are simply one row of about 6 stitches crocheted around a magic circle with a black french knot in the centre.
