This was fun to make. Of course I did not follow the pattern. That is what I love about crocheting; you can add, subtract, cover over or make right. I call it a forgiving craft..in fact it is a Christian sort of craft in comparison to knitting where every change in tension is clear for all to see.
This purse? has a rectangular bottom, instead of round. Rows of half double and then double stitches . I worked in between the stitches instead of in top to make the bag sturdier and used cotton yarn which stretches less than worsted yarn.
